Selfcare Sundays

Hi guys,

Hope you’re well? I’m excited to finally be writing this blog after a few weeks of thinking about it! I’m back from Dubai and having a few hectic weeks in London before the big C word!

Selfcare is something that has always been important to me, and to be honest, even more so since moving back to London. With a fast paced job (and life!), I really try to take some time out for myself when I can. I’m actually recently loving the bath! As someone who never really had much time for a bath (I’m a shower person), I now make sure I have time for one every week. Just sitting there, listening to music and not being on social media or my phone, is just refreshing!

I actually love using my new facial globes when I’m in the bath too. The contrast of the hot water and the ice globes is so refreshing! I was kindly gifted the set of globes by Fraicheur, a Parisien brand and I now encorporate them into my everyday skincare routine. They are so good for massaging in creams or serums and they really leave your face feeling tighter and fresh.

Their motto ‘Glowing Skin is Always in’ is something I totally agree with!

I usually put on a mask when I’m in the bath or on a Sunday evening. My current favourite is the Image Vital C Hydating Enzyme Mask from Eyrebrushed Skincare. I also love the Yonka Glycolic overnight mask– I try to use that twice a week because you can just pop it on and go to bed, and then wash it off the next morning.

And if you like to light a candle while you’re in the bath or doing a self-care routine, here are some of my current favourites.

Moving on from skincare, we can’t forget about haircare! I never really gave much thought to my hair apart from washing it, until the last few months. I now try to use products that I know won’t damage my hair and will repair it.

My absolute favourite haircare brand is Living Proof. All of their products are just amazing and it’s 100% worth the extra spend! I’m so grateful to be part of the Living Proof ‘Proofie’ Squad and I get to try their new products when they are launched. One product I couldn’t live without is their Dry Shampoo. It really leaves your hair looking washed and clean and it means I can get an extra day or two out of my hair.

I have also recently been trying their new repair shampoo and conditioner which I’ve found really leaves my hair looking shiny and full!

And if you want to do a selfcare hairday, their Scalp Care Revitalizing Treatment is great! I try to use this at least once a week the night before I’m going to wash my hair.

Thanks so much for reading! Let me know your favourite self-care routines in the comments below!
