An Evening with Pandora!

Hope you’re having a lovely relaxing Sunday evening. I’m here getting ready for another stint of Love Island. I missed all of this week’s episodes so I’ve spent the weekend catching up on all the drama. I’ve been meaning to write another blog post on life in London, but it’s actually just so busy all the time that it’s hard to get a few minutes to get around to it. But it’s all going well thank God!

So last Wednesday night, my lovely friend Cally invited me to a Pandora event to celebrate their new Wedding Collection. It was one of the nicest events I’ve ever been to and so intimate, there was only around 20 of us so it was a great opportunity to meet other London bloggers while dining in the beautiful location of the Ivy Tower bridge.

We were a few minutes late getting to the event because of the unavoidable London rush hour traffic but we just about made it after running with our umbrellas in the rain! Pandora had organised a calligraphy workshop for the evening over drinks and a 15-course tasting menu from The Ivy. We also got a chance to try on all of the pieces from the new collection while sipping endless glasses of Prosecco- not bad for a Wednesday night!

Calligraphy… how hard could it be? Well! I couldn’t believe how difficult it actually is! Having done art for the leaving cert and being quite a creative person, I didn’t think anything of it before I started and presumed I would be flying in no time. Between getting Ink all over my fingers (the red wine wasn’t helping) and being preoccupied by the food (no change there), I could just about write my name by the end of the hour long session! It was such a nice idea though and a great way to spend the evening and we even got to take the calligraphy set and paper home though, so I could practise if I really wanted to!

I also need to take a minute to talk about the food- it was SO good! Even though I wasn’t a huge fan of everything on the menu, it was great to be able to taste everything and the desserts…. I will definitely be making a trip back to one of the IVY locations around London.

You can shop the fabulous bridesmaid collection here and you don’t even have to be getting married or going to a wedding to wear the jewellery. All of the pieces are so versatile and would be a great investment for you or your bridesmaids or friends! I personally love the rings and simple chains because they’re great for dressy wear but you can also wear them everyday which is key. Click here to shop their amazing bridesmaid gift collection!

So I just want to say a huge thanks to Pandora for hosting such a wonderful event and for the opportunity to work with their brand.

That’s all for now but be sure to keep an eye on Instagram for my latest adventures, I’m jetting off to Germany this week! I haven’t been there in 2 years so it’ll be a nice change from the bustling London life for a few days.

Have a great week!
